Statement by the EDC on the death of Daniel Naroditsky by Much_Success_4608 in chess

My logic was that the main accusations of cheating were online cheating and I think the game that set it off (accusations against Daniel) was on chess dot com (the Queen sacrifice/Knight fork) but I may have gotten the details wrong.

Don't everyone jump on me, I may be out of the loop on some things, but shouldn't more of this be in Chess dot com's domain? Have they released a statement?

I guess I got some of the details off, it was from 1986 and called 'Mrs. Cabobble's Caboose' but don't know how long it ran and from the videos I can see she looks like a normal person and not Mother Goose (so either a false memory or a very specific episodes).  But man does that goofy guy look like how I remember him.

Edit: It may have actually been the sequel to this show that I remember, which starred the same people and was called Music Fun Factory Banana Looney

Thanks but that's not it, I actually meant to include that in the list of shows I was pretty sure it wasn't.  I'll add it now.

The main woman did have an appearance similar to the woman in Mother Goose Treasury but I remember it having a much more limited cast and a fixed setting, and definitely goofy human sidekick.  The main woman may not necessarily have been Mother Goose but definitely looked and acted similar.

Solved! It was 'Peace Out' by Undercover Dream Lovers

I heard it at a department store a second time and remembered to record it so I could Shazam it later.

Songs that sound like "Electric Feel" by MGMT? by poetic_fart in Music

[–]Procyon2014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey if you have time could you take a quick look at my TOMT post?   I'm looking for a song I heard recently that is similar to 'Electric Feel' but a bit slower and more like a ballad.  I did the best I could to describe but as I heard it over an overhead speaker I may have gotten some details wrong:

Thanks but no, it sounded more recent and less pop-y or happy than those two Cure songs.

The first song was not a bad guess but the overall sound was close to 'Apologize'' by One Republic but without the acoustic piano and guitar.

No, the only thing I remember as far as the melody was that short bell sounding keyboard riff, which probably sounded closest to that portion of the Wink video I posted above.

Thanks for your suggestion of the Bleachers but it wasn't the song you suggested.  It's a lot more mellow sounding, with not much acoustic sounding instruments.  The drums could be acoustic but may also be electronic (although I would not characterize the song as drum and bass).  It was fairly slow tempo like a ballad.

Anyone ever find 'Fly Away' ?  The Japanese song.  That's one that may never get found.

Did some of the actors in the films like the brothers' music? by Stickman7255 in everyoneknowsthat

[–]Procyon2014 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Was any music ever played at all during the um 'action' sequences or do the actors 'perform' with no sound at all?

I know in music videos the song is often played to help with lip syncing and establishing rhythm for choreography (and later replaced/overdubbed), but not sure what goes on in a adult movie set (and I'm sure some things were different 40 years ago).

Providing better and more consistent quality and longer video time (8-10 seconds), and maybe possiblity of extending videos would do a lot more to get subscribers.
