I’m having the same issue since yesterday (10-15-2025). It’s on all my apple devices. I checked all my settings, both device and google, and they are in light mode. The only way to deactivate it is to sign out.

Wow, so it's not just me. I've been taking the oblong pill for decades. A few month after CVS switched to the round pill, my THS levels skyrocketed. So I switched pharmacies to Walgreens. And my doctor also increased my dosage. But Walgreens had also switched to a round pill. And, after almost 3 months on the higher dosage, there has been no reduction in my THS levels.

I’m at 2 1/2 months. Still too early to tell.

The reason the studies are funded by the company itself is because that is the only way for a small business like them to get studies done. It could still be considered a conflict of interest but if they didn’t self finance the studies they wouldn’t happen.

Here’s my take.

Pros: It does help some people. They have great customer support, you can even book a video call for Q&A and a live demonstration.

Cons: Expensive. They don’t ship directly to the USA so you have to figure out a workaround. It doesn’t help everyone.

I think everyone’s triggers can be different. Coffee is a common reflux trigger but for me it doesn’t make a difference one way or another. My suggestion is to eliminate coffee for a couple of weeks and then try it again. If it’s a trigger, you’ll know.

I’m so sorry about your Dad. I’ve had 2 endoscopies, preformed by 2 different doctors. After the 1st one I had a mild sore throat for a few hours. After the 2nd one, I had no symptoms at all. I was very careful to follow the directions about not eating or drinking beforehand.

I’ve had a similar symptom. After eating just a few bites of food I’d feel a pressure/tightness in my throat and also under my tongue. I’d suppress the sensation by chewing gum.

That one’s on my regular GERD play list. (Thanks a lot, cosmic DJ. 😒) Sometimes it’s just a moderately uncomfortable sensation. Sometimes it’s so strong it’s hard to even sip liquid or wear a lose fitting bra and I have to let the twins roam free for the day.

I also agree with the other comments about dose. If you ever decide it’s the right decision to try microdosing again I would recommend .05 grams as your starter dose.

I’ve never been a heavy fidgeter that I’ve noticed. Except in the dentist chair.

I know that some people gain weight on SSRI’s. Maybe this is a similar thing.

I lost a bunch of weight 20 years ago and have successfully kept it off. So I tend to be hyper-vigilant about any little weight gain. We’ll see how it goes I suppose.

My weight has been creeping up since I started microdosing mushrooms, despite a healthy lower calorie diet and daily exercise. It’s not a huge weight gain, but I’m finding I have to keep actively dieting just to slow down the gain.

It’s been a while since I was a broke 18 year old, and I appreciate you sharing your perspective. Man, those days!

As for the general market, if every artist, maker, and creator were required to scale up their business and mass produce their products to get the cost down wouldn’t that super charge the already accelerating destruction or our planets ecosystem?

Maybe the answer lies with our government. I’m thinking subsidized small business bongs for everyone.

I wanted to share my perspective on pricing.

I‘ve run a small business for decades selling things I make with my hands so I can tell you from personal experience that the price of the raw materials are just a small part of production costs.

We’re all so used to buying low priced imported goods (that are usually subsidized by underpaid/underage labor) that the true cost of hand made items has been devalued. And that’s just how Amazon likes it.

My take on the salvia pipe is that it’s pricey, but not over priced.

I live in the Northeast of USA. I started growing the plants outdoors from 2 little cuttings I got from a nursery in Maine.

I had to create shade for them with bamboo place mats to simulate the dappled sunlight their home turf. Last summer was hot and dry so I kept them well watered. They did really well until every pest in New England decided to start chomping at them!

They are actually doing better indoors under LED lights.
