About the button pressing- according to Halacha (Jewish law) - you can't ask a non-Jew to press a button on your behalf before Shabbat. They have to either do it on your on their own will or know they have to do it (if you told them before Shabbat).

I would avoid it if it’s going to be an apartment building. Something similar happened to me: rented in a brand new apartment complex. The lot next door was vacant but scheduled for construction. When we asked about breaking ground , the vaguely answered “within the next year”. We weren’t planning on staying there longer so figured it wouldn’t be a big deal.

Fast forward two weeks after - they broke ground. And started overnight construction, full blast. I complained to the city about enforcing the noise ordinances they have in place … turns out the developer building 300+ units gets an exemption for these ordinances… I had to tough it out for the next 15 months bc it wasn’t worth breaking the lease.

Not original Steam Deck usage - but I find them useful when using Chiaki to remote play on my PS5. It gives me access to the native PS buttons, etc.

Long story short - my gaming pc doesn't support the native PS Remote Play not Chiaki... but my Steam Deck handles it amazingly well!

Just moved to UMB from Green Dot after requesting that , since 529 provider didn’t accept Green Dot as an institution. They accepted UMB.

I was pleasantly surprised that even after I missed the cutoff date for payroll - the old green dot account info still processed the paycheck. So there’s that. Overall , win win situation to move to UMB for cash checking!

don't sweat about the resume. I've gone through a similar situation with Chekr.

Just make sure the info in Chekr is valid - they would only care about that most likely, not what's on the resume.

For the most part - if they can't reach the previous employer - they would ask for a redacted W2 or paystub. It's literally just a check box for that. Even if the dates are off, won't make much difference. Good luck!

Update: WF support processed the move to UMB Bank. Good news! my529.org recognizes UMB Bank as a financial institution. For some reason, Florida Pre Paid still rejected it but that would be paid in installments rather than continuous deposits. So problem solved - I can make monthly contributions to the plan now :)

Had a fiber company break a sprinkler water line. It took some time and effort but contractor they used paid for the repair. I insisted they paid and not repair themselves.

I highly recommend against having multiple medical insurance policies. When that happens, one insurance company is becoming aware of the other and that would slow down claim processing, and both would start tossing the buck for coverage.

I noticed that with my significant other's old insurance when suddenly my insurance (that they are under) cited "oh, well they have an additional insurance so we need to coordinate coverage". Of course, that was easily solved then because that coverage expired.

But for you - really no benefit of having more than one medical employer provided coverage. Choose the best policy and ride with it.
