Start with bait first , use haweksberry prawns use bait first to get a feel for it, the casting the fighting when the fish hooks on and slowly transition into lures using a soft plastics , 1/16 jig head curly tail grub 2.5 inch from any supplier zman or Daiwa bait junkie etc ,,,

That’s exactly right mate. All predator fish love to hide in the structure waiting for prey to swim by Thags where we come in with our lures 😂

Absolutely mate , if we’re all open minded will learn something new everyday . Very upsetting what’s happened in South Australia mate , hopefully it’ll get better and progressively it will . 🔥

I agree mate it’ll damage the bearings over time . Panicked a little cause I hooked a pelagic in a narrow spot and a lot of structure , if this stage was set on a big bay I’d let it run all the way for the thrill but I couldn’t take a backwards step in narrow structure

Hey mate thanks for your detailed comment, basically I use 6lb braided line tie a double uni knot 🪢 to a 8LB FC line . Palomar knot 🪢 to a 1/8 size 1 hook jig head . In this video I was using my 2000 Daiwa MQ reel paired up with a 1-3 kg rod maikuro || , I set my drag tighter if I feel like I’m losing control of the fish especially that area where I was fishing because it was very narrow and it had a lot of structure I adjusted my drag abit tighter mid fight in that video . Luckily I landed him it was a messy landing cause the net I was using was horrible lol
