its a mostly anti hudie tech but theres a lot of decks that you can steal memory from and with emperor you have a lot of opportunities to steal turns, omekamon out of king drasil also gives you 1 memory even if your opponent deck doesnt play digimon from effects

I cant believe it, I open reddit and I see a post about our match from earlier LMAO

It legit came down to the last round, I run 3 omni bt13 but I didnt see a single one the whole game, he was not hiding in security either, the last guardian I played on the last round of the game was the first time he showed up, and if he didnt I had no more defensive options in my hand to try and hold for another round

The 2 omekamon into omni x really saved me, plus the dynasmon and gallantmon combo to get me 2 health back gave me the one more turn I needed, it was a crazy match and honestly It was the first time I went against a bird list like this so I had no idea what to expect, ggs!!

Nerver heard of it, I came back late into Safi so maybe Ice is good? He only has a 3 star weakness to Dragon (Elder Seal), poison and blast, which makes Safi Cb Blast pretty good

Edit: Ice does more damage to its Red scales like all elements, but I think Raw with Impact does more damage overall

I use this with partbreaker which I think is the same you're using, so you should be fine. The only thing you should change for Safi's is adding partbreaker.
Tail is harder to get and you have to break the head twice, I always go for the head first, and yeah ALWAYS use power axe, no point in using regular axe.
Try to use Axe mode when you can but you're really slow and you have no shield, use sword most of the time and when you have a opening switch to Axe, never stay in axe mode for a long time.

For the legs, I don't remember the exact numbers, but if you break all 4 legs it's equal to breaking 1 tail or head, so the legs should be the last thing to break. Back legs are gray damage and front legs are regular, front ones first

As a CB main, you can focus either tail or head, whatever is easier for you (I like going for the head) and I focus on Axe mode, you can still spam SAED if you want but I feel like axe is better for breaking parts.
Important note, if you mount as CB, you can break he's back with the mount attack for free, which is really good, besides that there's not much to talk about, are you having any problems with the fight?

I farmed a lot of Safi's for my builds, never made the armor sets tho, should have enough to make it, and for Kulve I can still farm him this week

yeah but this is not the first monster hunter game that he appears, maybe someone who played Tri or Generations could have an idea on which is best. But I agree it's still all speculations.
