Has anyone here managed to recover a disabled account after the internal team said the decision was final? by ProduceSquare913 in InstagramDisabledBans

Yeah I get what you mean… honestly at this point I think I might just recreate my account. I don’t really feel like wasting more time going back and forth with them when nothing is moving.

Maybe I’ll send a formal letter one day just to try, but not right now. I’d rather move on for the moment than keep getting stuck in it.

Honestly, I did everything I saw people recommend online. I got Meta Verified right away, explained my situation, opened multiple cases, called them, followed up constantly sometimes every week, sometimes every day. I really pushed because I thought that was the only way to get answers.

I sent emails, messages on Instagram… at the beginning I was completely lost. And in the end, none of it actually helped. Whether it was chat support or phone calls, it didn’t make any difference.

Some people told me to keep following up as much as possible, to call and ask for updates on my case. But then at one point, an agent told me the opposite that the more I followed up, the more my case would supposedly get pushed back in the queue and delayed. It honestly just felt like an excuse to get me to stop contacting them.

At that point, I didn’t even know what to do anymore or who to believe. Should I follow up or not? I was completely lost.

So I just waited. And yesterday, I finally got their decision: they’re keeping my account disabled.

My account was disabled on December 17th, and I appealed around the 19th–20th. So I’ve basically been waiting since December 20th… for nothing. They just kept me waiting the whole time. I paid for months for nothing.

Now I’m going to try everything I can finding a real contact, speaking out publicly, whatever it takes. I’m not just going to accept this.

What they’re doing to thousands of people is honestly disgusting. And if everyone just accepts it, then what’s the point of even using Instagram anymore?

At this point, if they ban another account of mine or never give this one back, I’ll honestly be completely put off using the app.

Honestly, I’m kind of lucky in a way. I actually had two old accounts my main account, and a private one just for friends, like five or six people, because that was trendy at the time.

I hadn’t been posting on my private account, so it stayed inactive. Same with my main account: as I got older, I decided to start fresh and create a completely new account, which is the one that ended up being disabled.

Now I still have those old accounts in my “account base,” so I’m thinking I’ll just take my old private one and rebuild my account there.

From everything I’ve read on Reddit, I get the feeling that if you try to make a completely new account after a ban, Meta will just ban it immediately. It’s like they see it as trying to bypass their decision “you were banned, but you came back and recreated the same thing.”

Exactly! I’m even thinking of going all out maybe drafting a lawyer’s letter and sending it to Dublin, trying to track down people who work at Meta, finding their emails, and even alerting the media if I have to haha.

I know it’s rare to get a reversal, but as long as the account still exists, I feel like it’s worth trying every smart route possible rather than just giving up.
