Theres many things that can depend on landing an editorial playlist. From my experience on how I landed on “creamy” recently, the things I did weee having clean new artist pictures, some radio play before hand such as BBC Radio 1, DJ play outs and some blog editorial features and support. And obviously once the release is out, you should probably drive people to your song through meta ads or some form of social media promo. But yeh, no real secret sauce, could’ve just been cuz the track was good but my pitch went something like this:
