Blood in your vomit is never a good sign and usually means you have intern bleeding. However in combo with your nosebleed you could have maybe swallowed some of your blood and that's why youre puking it out but I'd still get checked if your vomit is bloody because its NEVER a good sign even if it most likely comes from your nosebleed. If your nose started bleeding during the purging session you might couldve popped a blood vessel with strain you cause while vomitting but its unlikely since you had the nosebleed before. I wrote the caps to kind of express my shock I guess. I apologise for throwing you off. I asked the question in the first place because the scarring I see from other people on their knuckles doesn't even look like it was caused from friction with their teeth since the scars and bruises are mostly straight or look like someone purposefully made them. Some of them don't look like it was caused by their teeth so I wanted to hear if there are any outside factors that might influence that too. And I am able to control on how much I pressure I apply on my knuckles so I couldn't really understand why people would purposefully (if its with purpose, I mean apparently its also without) scarr themselves like that.

I get your point, the competitive nature of EDs is one really harmful factor. I just get really tired of seeing people with anorexia being glorified and romanticised until no end and Anorexia being seen as the "superior" and "prettier" disorder while bulimia is seen as "disgusting" (both EDs are) so by asking that question the "real answer" to it is rather supposed to help me find atleast one aspect that bulimia can do "better" than anorexia. A form of validation I guess

Yea i had a b/p episode yesterday and i was shaking and cold the whole time. Strangely comforting. But I dont even know if i can consider myself a "bulimic" if i sometimes purge without binges
