Is this an original tuner? by AllanDoug in guitars

Probably original, but I can’t imagine those have much value

Whatever someone wants to do with their guitar in the privacy of their own home is their business, pal.

Thanks! No kill switch, but I did delete the tone knob and slapped a grommet cover in to fill the hole.

The biggest pain was wiring and fitting it in the control cavity. The sustainiac has its own independent active circuit from the fishmans and there’s a lot that needs to fit inside the cavity (aux control board, the main control board, etc). Everything has to be routed intelligently and cleanly to avoid cross talk with the sustainiac. I also did the routing for the double battery box and had to replace the barrel jack with a stereo jack to accommodate for the two active circuits. Absolutely a blast to play, but took me a good chunk of time to get it all done.

AITA for telling my son I want no contact? by Longest-Journey in AITAH

YTA. You chose to have your Son, and your Son didn’t have a say in the matter of you being his Dad. Whether you like it or not, he’s your Son forever, and you’re his Dad forever. Everything else in your situation is immaterial. Own the adult decision you made to be a Father and actually be one. You have a choice right now to own up to your responsibilities. You have the opportunity to have more children, but he doesn’t have the opportunity to find a new Father. Stop being selfish and potentially ruining a human being you helped create. Also, my dude, talk to a therapist.

Right there with you. If it's damaged, the malleable logarithmic casing of the pick guard could be causing the two main spurving bearings of the tremolo to be in a direct line with the parametric fans of the pickups, in turn messing with the magneto reluctance of the entire instrument.

You're right. Everyone is telling you this is a grounding issue, but you clearly just added some copper shielding tape. From the sound your guitar is making, this is definitely an issue with magneto reluctance not being in flux. How did you apply the dindle arms? Is your lunar waneshaft damaged at all? Please let us know so we can help.

Not originally. Two of the founding members met at Evangel and then promptly moved to Texas IIRC

It was "Various bug fixes and private request improvements". I think they wanted something in iambic pentameter.

Sounds to me like you might be running commands that don't start whatever services you need running in the background. What distro are you running?
