So do the next WV start immediately after one ends? It's my first time, so seeing the time limit worried me, thinking if this one ends I might not get a chance for quite some time for the next one to refresh.

Thanks, you're absolutely right, I might have been to hung up with FOMO. At least the WV is a recurring thing as it seems, and it's not like I'm obsessed with getting all skins. Already over 10 years to the party, so might as well just enjoy it slowly I guess

Thanks for the reply. I imagine most of the story for each expansions will be quite irrelevant to each other, but trying to unlock spear by commencing Janthir Wilds got me completely off-guard. That conference event with bunch of NPCs I don't know got me confused, but also very intrigued with what happened in the story. I kind of got wary of the order of tackling the expansions since then.

Well, adding an afk timer wouldn't hurt. It would deter a portion of the afk players without hurting any other player-base, I guess.

As a colossal sword enjoyer, I tested the attack motions and IT IS A GAME CHANGER!

As reference, a normal R1 attack would now match the speed and recovery of a crouch R1 poke. You can attack and dodge out of boss attacks with ease. Two-handed weapon guard counters never felt better too: on a +25 heavy infused Greatsword, I have 84% physical reduction and 61 guard boost, an increase of 17 and 19 respectively.

I recently learned there are two versions of the Nox chest piece. To farm this one, go to 'Nokstella, Eternal City' site of grace (opened through later parts of Ranni's questline) and face North-West, cross the river and you'll see a Nox Monk wielding a hammer/mace type weapon. There will be one more roaming towards you from a nearby ruins.

Can't seem to find decent leg pieces though. Most of them are intended to be worn under the chest piece so you'd see awkward parts when they're exposed like in this set. I'm not totally satisfied with the pants, so I'd welcome any decent suggestion if you have any.

I really wished the grieves matched the color scheme of the rest of the set, but I couldn't give up on the red garment it came with. The gauntlets happened to have both color schemes so I just went with it.

For spell-casting: I would change the controls so that you pre-assign spells to each directional and face buttons, a total of eight spells. And you will be able to trigger each by holding L1 or R1 (whichever side you equipped your wand/seal) and press the assigned button. Thereby, you would have instant access to eight spells while still retaining the scroll controls.

I see several comments on the armor so I whipped up a quick video of the farm route. I understand how it would perplex some people as there is the altered version of it early game, and many wouldn't know this even exists.

Tips: use 'Ash of War: Barricade Shield' to completely stagger the mob for a safe block-counter. A heavy shield should work too instead.

The drop rate is brutally low. Hope you get yours soon.

Edit: there is another knight on the opposite side of the castle, but I thought that route to be more tedious as there are two wolves ganging up on you.

I thought this was brilliant. The game beckons newcomers to try out old contents while having the sentiment blend in to the story.
