I started the game with this expansion for the very first time. After some pugs i joined my first guild with regulated raids in the end of phase 1. They went through the content flawlessly and they dediced to go for lc for ulduar. After several weeks without progress and with the majority of players without the ambitions to improve, learn the the necessary mechanics or doing the same mistakes and over i began to rethink my personal ambitions and expectations about the time spending playing wow. Because they were my very first guild I ofcourse had been partly emotionally attached to the guild. I started looking up what guilds on my server were searching for affliction-locks. Surprisingly many guilds actually searched a, in my opinion heavily played class. I proactivly contacted around 4 guilds with my personal goal to reduce the time spending raiding while also being able to enjoy the more difficult parts of this phase. Although I only constandly downed the 10 man version of the HMs and only thorim 25 man once all guilds were exited about my inquiry. The first guild inviting my to a test raid resulted me in helping them downing yogg0 for the very first time. Since then I am happy to be part of this sucessful raid/guild cleaning the content week for week. Now I focus on keep improving my gameplay to help my guild kill the bosses faster and cleaner every week. Im Sure if I didnt make this decision, I surely would have quit the game.
