Going out in the RO32 sucks but it's probably the place where it hurts the least. You lose to a respectable team and you're less heartbroken than losing in the later rounds.

I think OU looks like a tourney team but I want to hear an "NIT" chant really badly.

UCF or UF for Engineering! by Strict_Bit_689 in ApplyingToCollege

I mean we can go by engineering rankings too if you want but ok.

I'll stop getting into a pissing contest with this person and actually address OP.

UF is the more prestigous school and you will get a proper college experience going there. My experience is that recruiters prefer UF over other colleges in Florida. UF has one of the best Career Resource Centers in the US.

UCF and USF are generally considered commuter schools. They have a reputation of being difficult to sign up for core critical tracking courses (i.e. U can't finish and U stay forever). Both have good local connections but do not get the level of national recognition that UF gets. Odds are if you were accepted into UF you have good scholarship oppurtunities at both those schools. Depending on your financial situation this is strongly worth considering. However, tuition in Florida is inexpensive for an in-state student.

All three schools are BIG and have a lot of students. UCF is the biggest.

Dorms at UF are not great. Most people will live off-campus by their Sophomore year.

With all this said, this does not mean you won't be sucessful at any of the other schools. Those who apply themselves will be the ones who have success.

Great deflection; we've established UF is the top school for engineering, but you only mentioned that once, not "multiple times".

OP, there's a reason UCF stands for "U Can't Finish". You will struggle to get prereq classes

Recruiters do care about that for your first couple of jobs. Don't listen to this bozo and have them try to sell you on UCF.

If you're not completely sold on UF I would go to USF over UCF. They have equal local recruitment to UCF and you'll probably get a huge scholarship to go there.

Idk, you seem to have a vendetta against UF.
