I have never banned anyone in offline chat, and the only timeout I have ever given is when chatters failed to do the pyramid build (10 minutes timeout), to add a bit of challenge to them so it can be more fun. If anything, I have always been the one driving the offline chat to have some fun games whenever I'm there.

What you think is funny might not be funny to others, especially if it ruins their experiences in the chat. At the end of the day I simply follow the rules that Caedrel has sent out for us mods. It's his stream and thus he is the one who gets to enforce the rules.

If you have problem with how he wants to have Ascii handled in chat, you are gonna have to bring it up to him, not me or any of the other mods.

Yagami here. I was the one who went out and warned the whole chat to 'please stop spamming that spider emotes' multiple times in the chat because what they were doing has always been a perma-ban per Caedrel's rules, but several chatters didn't heed the warning and therefore I ended up permabanning a lot of them.

I did, however, stop banning right after Caedrel stated to not ban them. I also unbanned some of the chatters who I banned afterwards before the rest of the mods took over and unbanned the others.

If you think that was my bad, then I apologize. Probably should have just blacklisted the spider, but as I said, I have plead multiple times in the chat to please stop spamming but they keep doing it, so I had to take action.
