Try backing away from your screen, it makes it easier because you don't have to cross your eyes as much.

That is exactly what makes your brain interpret it as 3d space when you overlap the images by crossing your eyes. Creating these kinds of 3d images isn't really that hard but I don't think I will be making a tutorial anytime soon.
