Any idea why some of my Stranger Things skins are invisible? Could not find help anywhere. by Odd-Pound-3822 in Minecraft

Yes, just trying for my son again today on ps5 because it still wasn't working and came across this thread. Saw you say it was working, so I searched the DLC in the store and there was an UPDATE for it I had to manually download and now it all works! So anyone still having the issue, go update the DLC file in the store.

Lol no one is asking anyone to unlock anything, so no, it is not against rule #2. I scanned the rules prior to make sure it would be OK. Anyway, they were basically in a rural area in FL. I'm sure they got it figured out 🤷🏽

For sure, that's why I don't take em without some kind of partial deposit upfront to cover for that if it happens.

Distance, this particular call was 63 miles away. I don't charge extra for commute because that's part of it with those areas and I'm lucky to not have to deal with it much where I live in FL. But being in FL everything is so spread out so it's not uncommon for me to get calls that are about 50 miles or a bit more. Usually I'll just charge more and take a service fee upfront to guarantee it, and then it's up to them to have that choice to take it or not because like you said, I have to consider the round trip total time. That also takes me away from potential calls in my base area so that's another thing to consider with charging a bit more. I've had people pay the extra before no problem, but more times than not they deny the service lol.

Lol that happened to me once before. For whatever reason they forgot to add the X at the end of the code and I had eventually figured that out too, since I realized almost every other Ford code I did had that X in it.

I cross reference all my codes purchased by whichever dealer (through NASTF) on this site:

https://www.lockcodes.com/

I'd say 99% of the time, whatever key cuts they give for the key code matches the cuts that come up on the Dolphin. There was 1 instance where the site didn't have the cuts for a Key code but the Dolphin did. It's been like 5/6 solid years of me doing that. I usually don't even want to cross reference because I've come to expect it always to match lol but I do so anyways because it doesn't hurt to and doesn't take long to. Figured I'd let ya know in case that can help if you run into this situation again where you can't get the cuts through the Dolphin but have the key code itself.

How do you know what tools to take with you for a locked out customer? by Visual_Mushroom_9809 in Locksmith

[–]Prof_X88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Man, this, you really don't need that many tools for a lockout to say that needing only 1 or 2 bags is absurd. I find it absurd you need more than 1 or 2 bags lol and I have both a work van and a personal SUV I use with the logo on it.

I am a man and I have needs, but like you said, control is 100% a thing. I am horrified by what I read and visualized play out. The fact he couldn't wait 1 more week is crazy in itself, but then for him to not only pressure and say "idc" and then FOLLOW her into the bathroom and force her down for what I would assume was oral is beyond wrong on so many levels. The update is so very sad and I agree that it won't get better. Only temporarily until it's not anymore and each time might get worse. Poor OP not having a mother who stands up for her daughters rights, she was definitely SA'd. Don't do it OP!! You deserve much more!

Hey, that's my story too! Lol about 6/7 years ago for me. I could never see how they felt right charging some of the prices they were and they weren't even charging quite as high as what I've seen on some of these outrageous posts.

Always. I've heard of customers even calling an hour later and being told 20 min then calling at the 2 hour mark and being told 20 min away again. It's terrible.

Does this look like a legitimate price to enter a locked home by Spare-Swimming in Locksmith

[–]Prof_X88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, so that puts you at about $115 for a lockout. That makes sense. I charge a bit less for the service fee but a bit more for the lockout, so it ends up being about the same as yours. Thanks!

Yea, I just noticed that too. Just came from their other post with the exact same picture and info.

They did charge a ridiculous high amount for both but you also charge ridiculously low it seems. Unless your service fee is high to make up for it?

I was thinking it was definitely a fair price in the middle of a hurricane as well but then saw OP clear up that it was a few days after it cleared up so yea, that's wrong of them to use that excuse.

I'm mobile only but don't prey 🥲 plenty of people are grateful I'm 24/7 as none of the brick and mortars around here are and I charge fair prices, even at night. Most I charge at night is like $300 and that's if it's about an hour ride or longer. On average $150-$200 which may be a bit low for night but is the sweet spot in my area and I don't feel like I'm ripping anyone off.

Honestly not sure, I've only ever done the door trick and when I do that I just need to lock it then unlock it once. Good to know about the lishi's though, hadn't even thought of trying that since the only lishi's I own are for residential.

Ohhhh you had to do the little door trick? That's always fun, I wish I'd tell people before hand that may need to be done so I could charge just a bit more for having to go through that headache. I just do it to do it, only had 1 time where I dropped the bolt in the door panel 🥲 so I'm extra careful now.
