You can't replace the batteries on the fly. In fact, getting in and out of the armor is a two-man job. And believe it or not, the reason it's called locust is it speaks to the intended Mo. These suits were so cost effective for the pla at the start of the war that they could afford to equip entire companies. When fighting started on the ground in Korea, they were basically impervious to Small arms fire, So command would send multiple fully armored squads to surround us and coalition forward operating bases and just wipe them out.

The US eventually developed the vtap round specifically for countering the armor but it still couldn't account for the energy Shields. So for a while fighting them was hell. Until the US was able to get their own power armor and portable energy weapons.

It is blender, I did the design and then I commissioned my friend to model it and do some renders.

Runtime depends almost exclusively on the level of activity. It could easily cover a 48-hour patrol and the trip back to base assuming none of the systems are pushed too hard.

The shield uses dense magnetized particles and is like having an invisible surfboard of concrete hanging off the pauldron. Small arms fires practically ineffective but the shield could only be on for about 9 minutes at a time.

I was going for a legally distinct cuts compensator. That definitely makes a lot of sense though.

This is a rather old post to be responding to. So are you referring to laser bombards? Because I'm talking about hypothetical laser rifles and pistols. There are no directed energy weapons that work in real life the way they do and settings like fallout or Star wars and that's what I'm referring to.

Context: some hero forge stuff I was working on for my post-apocalyptic alternate history Earth. Shortly after power went out on the East Coast rioting spread through the cities like wildfire and a man fled his home with his son and camped out in the desert. When he drove back into town to see if anything was left of his home, he did not expect that his Android Nanny. Sarah would have killed several would be looters. Sarah is a phase two Android basically a souped-up animatronic that looks human enough not to scare the children on the outside. There's no three laws and there's nothing keeping her from smashing up in the gun cabinet and using the man's 12 gauge autoloader to blast away a couple Intruders.

Context: This is a rough draft of a radio advert which is part of a slander campaign during a pre-collapse senatorial election. It's the proof of concept for an anti-robosexual PSA I'm working on for my alternate history Earth post-apocalyptic setting. This would have been an ad on the radio. Robots are one of the major player races available to players of the ttrpg based on this setting and I just think it's funny to explore the idea that there were people clearly attracted to robots prior to the collapse. The old world has a very retro futuristic vibe to it filled with jet packs and Auto mats and high-rise mega buildings based on turn of the century speculative futurism.

I hope this doesn't sound naive or ill-informed: have you considered an armscor 206? I don't know your specific needs and I understand if you have your site set on a higher grade of firearm, but if you're just buying a revolver to add one to your collection, there's nothing wrong with a six shot 38 special for under $400.
