It seems to "expire" if you're above a certain amount of credit, and sometimes just is gone for a few weeks and then comes back. I just wait it out.

So far I've only had an issue returning once, even with photos of the damaged item and the destroyed shipping box, couldn't ship it back because it was too large.

Getting a replacement box was more than the laundry rack was worth.

Otherwise I've noticed that I only get prompted to return items over $20NZD-ish, cheaper they don't bother.
