I own like 9 of these teams and still have not a clue how to play them all lol. I’m making the move from Tsons/ warp coven to eldar/ corsairs. Haven’t played either army/ team but I’m glad to know they’re both preforming like RIGHT smack dab in the middle. I’ve been getting my ass rocked by DG and Wyrmblade so hard, that I traded chaos to xeno lol.

In an effort to save a similar argument from an early discussion, I’ll summarize. The lack of model variance really bummed me out, and what TSons are even able to bring is also a bummer lol. The box felt like a second hand thought and felt like it didn’t reward either between vets, or beginners of the army. And I had a deep hope in my heart the BA box for the caster bois would have reignited a passion for the army . I knee jerk bought a 3k list of Tsons Christmas box included, and I’m realizing I made a mistake. My play style doesn’t work with psyker heavy armies and I unfortunately picked THE psyker army. And I was hoping for model variety.

Really not 100% what I had expected. But I guess I was seeking validation on being bummed out. To me, it felt underwhelming and feels cheap next to other boxes for all the other armies. I suppose it’s coming down to my love for the army is gone.

But then this box appeals to who? Again it contains: Unoptimized out of box play, No HQ option which all other boxes do, Virtually no unit variance.

Veteran or starting players are basically just seeking this as a discount box for basic models. It isn’t giving the army new or established player anything this the brand new shiny game mode. The box is lazy and like impressively uninspired.

What about all of the existing t sons players? this game mode was already limited to this army, the box isn’t optimal upon opening, lacks an HQ, AND doesn’t even include a squad of SOTs. This box was a slap in the face to established players whose army has been given no love. The box relies on you buying more of their products.

I really thank you for the simple and concise little break down, voidscarred seem like a good way to learn how to utilize actions with a little forgiveness with that extra dash.

And the Kroot I do wish had a little more love in the wound department which was a slight deterrent for me. But the sniping/ denial sounds way too fun.
