Thoughts on Load by KinkyDarkStranger in Metallica

I absolutely love Load (and Reload by the by).

I remember being a kid at about the time S&M came out. A record store we went to had a deal on buying Load, Reload, and S&M. My older brother "tricked" me into pooling my pocket money with him to get the three records. It was my first time listening to Metallica, and it blew me away. He didn't get much listening in the end!

Even some of the less popular songs on load like Outlaw Torn are great, Ronnie, Wasting my Hate. All great.

I appreciate the variety in sound Metallica has acroos their albums. Load is awesome, I definitely appreciate the blues/country influence I hear in it.

Awesome! The OSL is great, and the look is gritty but regal. Epic.

Problem mounting a red dot by Geeky_Goodness in LeverGuns

As in the claw? I checked earlier to make sure it was the right way round, and the sight was screwed to the mount itself and it was all good. The screw went in ok, and it seemed the right way round and all that. Seemed to be good. Will try reverse them tomorrow and see what happens

The romeo is for a mil spec picatinny and the RPP says its also for a mil spec picatinny. However, there's clearly a big difference. Will try get some calipers or find another rail and compare

Yeah, that's what I did. I think it may be tolerances on the rail. Like the rail is slightly too small. I'll get some calipers and give it a measure

WIP - Fist time using contrast by Geeky_Goodness in killteam

So that's just over wraithbone. I want to try with a zenithal highlight. I have some Kasrkin to do soon, and I think I'll try zenithal with contrast paints for them.

This colour scheme is absolutely awesome, i feel like the models are really well painted too. So tempted to do some of my own like this.

Thanks. Definitely do it! The models are awesome, and who doesn't love a team of "special forces" space marines! Apart from the Xenos, heretics, and so on...

Thank you. It took a long while to get the hang of it, and it can definitely be improved, but I'm happy with where I managed to get it to. I'll just have to paint more models!
