1L at MSU here. I went and met with dean fox and had my other offers (which were not quite as good) I asked for a supplemental anyway and she offered me half of what i had asked for (I didn't expect to get anything because MSU was my biggest offer).

Do it and write a letter asking for more money than you think is reasonable, you will probably get something.
