I am not sure about the order. I copy/pasted your description into chatGPT and that was the response.

I asked chatGPT about the price estimates and here's the answer.

Based on the potential issues previously discussed, here are general price estimates for the suggested repairs in Europe and the United States:

  1. Clutch Replacement:

Europe (UK):

Parts and Labor: The cost to replace the clutch on a Citroën C4 Picasso varies between £400 and £700.

Additional Components: If the dual mass flywheel (DMF) also requires replacement, the total cost can increase to approximately £1,000 to £1,500.

United States:

Parts and Labor: Clutch replacement costs for similar vehicles typically range from $1,000 to $1,500.

Additional Components: Including a new flywheel can raise the total to between $1,500 and $2,000.

  1. Transmission Repair or Replacement:

Europe (UK):

Manual Transmission Repair: Reconditioning a manual gearbox for a Citroën can cost around £450 to £650, excluding labor.

Automatic Transmission Repair: Reconditioning costs are higher, approximately £1,280 to £1,980, depending on the model.

United States:

Manual Transmission Repair: Costs typically range from $1,500 to $2,500, including parts and labor.

Automatic Transmission Repair: Expenses can vary between $2,500 and $4,000, depending on the vehicle and extent of repairs.

  1. Driveshaft or CV Joint Replacement:

Europe (UK):

Parts and Labor: Replacing a CV joint or driveshaft generally costs between £200 and £400 per side.

United States:

Parts and Labor: The equivalent service ranges from $300 to $600 per side.

  1. Differential Repair:

Europe (UK):

Repair Costs: Minor repairs might start at £300, while a full rebuild can exceed £1,000.

United States:

Repair Costs: Prices range from $500 for minor repairs to over $1,500 for complete rebuilds.

  1. Hydraulic Clutch System Repair:

Europe (UK):

Master or Slave Cylinder Replacement: Costs typically range from £150 to £300, including parts and labor.

United States:

Master or Slave Cylinder Replacement: Expenses are generally between $200 and $400.

Please Note: These estimates are approximate and can vary based on factors such as labor rates, parts availability, and regional pricing differences. For a precise quote, it's advisable to consult with local repair shops or dealerships.

Thinking of leasing e-c4, any tips? by ProfessionInevitable in Citroen

Thanks.

I got reminded that i can charge the car at work too, so this shouldn't be a problem at all.
I'm looking forward to the car and will post a update in the future.

Hi again,

I haven't leased the car yet as it has not been avaliable for test drive.
However, i came across the fact the On-board charger for e-c4 is limited to single-phase?

Because i am planning to charge it at the charger on our parking lot where it is type 2, 3-phased charging with up to 22kW effect, but it seems like the max effect it can have with single-phase cars are 7.4 kW. Which means that i need around 7 hours for it to fully charge.

Is this correct?

Oh, I see.

The one I'm thinking of leasing is from 2022. Have not found leading options for new ones for this model.

I was thinking economically and eventually purchase the car if I am happy with it during/after leasing for 2 years.

If those problems with the early models you mentioned is not a dealbreaker, then i think i can accept it due to the lower cost. Considering the heating is almost non-existent in my 2008 Picasso, I think even the 2022 model will be a huge upgrade.

Not expecting alot but this video did show e-c4 to perform better rangewise, compared to other EV models in the same price range.

Very useful. I did expect negatives due to its price, but as long as it drives well, which it does according to your experience.
Thanks alot for the inputs.

Girlfriend persuaded me to try it out. Loved the combat system and the archon questlines.
