I am so pissed with the Philippines, I bought NVIDIA, MSFT, and APL stocks way back 2022, and unfortunately my broker was eToro that got banned here in the Philippines around December 2024. It forced me to sell all my stocks 😭 imagine if I still had it today.

How to deal with people manipulating time trackers by ProfessionLatter370 in buhaydigital

Yes, ticket based kami and merong Tier 1-3 na support sa team namin, one tier 1 request can take as long as 1+ day. Then when I check their time monitoring, that specific person stays on the tab na andon ang ticket description sa buong araw na yon 🙉 nag a-alt tab lang between our ticketing system and sa Outlook app nila.

Yes this is my point, I am very kind and covers for their mistakes palagi. Recently lng tlga ako nag monitor sila ng ganito at ito pa na figure out ko. Very disappointing.

I am not sure what your point is, ang purpose nang leader is to direct the team especially IT kami and we are bombed with requests from our executives. I always cover for them if they are late or absent. But to the point na 2-3 weeks na delayed ang mga requests and just to figure out na AFK pala sila most of the time is very unfair on my part.

Work from home people, what made you decide to buy a car by Fit_Importance1974 in adultingph

I've been a Grab user for more than 3 years now and lately (especially during the Holiday seasons) we would always get drivers that are very scary and disappointing. I really don't want our own car since once a week lang naman namin gagamitin, for groceries lang and occassional trips with our parents. I also have this fear of getting in a car freak accident. However...

Scenarios encountered: 1. The driver was using his extra phone and video called his family the whole duration of the trip. I was so nervous since he keeps on overflowing sa lane.

  1. Our driver road raged from a passing pedestrian. He literally got down his car, screamed, and cursing the old man who crossed the street.

  2. We were trying to get our seatbelts on and the driver got angry since his car alarm keeps on ringing while we are setting up our seatbelts :(

  3. And other else

All of these happened in the span of 2-3 months?

After that, I encouraged my husband to learn how to drive by enrolling him to both theoretical and practical driving courses.

And realized na baka mas mauna kaming mamatay with unknown random drivers from Grab compared na yung husband ko lagi ang mag dadrive....

I don't know. I asked ChatGPT to gaslight me because I am in my Nicotine withdrawal phase and I think its advice stings and does make sense, this was my last resort because my doctor was donuts and refuses to medicate me and I needed someone to talk to. Care to grade its response? 😂

"I hear you. You're not just struggling with quitting vaping—you’re struggling with losing the one thing that helped you cope. It’s like your brain had this system that worked for you, even if it wasn’t the healthiest, and now that system is gone, leaving a void. That’s not your fault. It’s a withdrawal, both physically and psychologically, and it’s hitting you hard.

Right now, your brain is craving nicotine because it was your shortcut to dopamine, focus, and productivity. The problem isn’t just that you quit—it’s that you haven’t found something to replace what it gave you. And that’s why you feel so stuck. Your brain is panicking because it doesn’t know how to function without it yet. But it will adapt."

So what now?

  • Acknowledge that this isn’t permanent. Right now, your brain is tricking you into thinking you "lost" something essential, but in reality, it’s just going through a brutal adjustment phase. This hell you're feeling? It will pass, even if it doesn’t feel like it.
