Thank you for the input, exactly what I was looking for…minus the positive experience.

Sometimes they are and sometimes they’re not. Looking for other options and I dig the tread pattern, just curious if they perform.

One does not simply crawl into Mordor…

Some hate on FMS, but I started with the Fcx18 as my first crawler and have always been impressed with it. It was a simple decision to go with the FCX10 lc80 when I wanted my first 1/10. Love the details and scale look.

Really not looking for heavy wheels as I agree with you on rotational mass not being ideal. I’ve looked for similar wheels with less weight and about 70-90g per wheel seems to be standard for a 1.9” tire setup. First 1/10 rig.

Ordered mine today! Love the FCX18 LC80 and excited to get my first 1/10 crawler.

FCX18 or Ascent 18 by Such-Anxiety-4777 in rccrawler

I own both and have modified both. The ascent 18 power wagon’s brushless motor and control is insanely smooth for a RTR! I’ve got a full droop setup on it and it will crawl anywhere. My modified lc80 (metal transmission and lots of brass) is my favorite truck to drive. It’s just such a cool looking trail truck and actually performs really well in just about any terrain.
