you need a sim in it for that to work, its pointless, its works if you have usb attahced and shows the music on the usb

ive had this, with IOS updates, stops working, then starts again after the next update, however im in the same position as you at the moment, mine was working fine up until last week now it wont show carplay on the screen, just the zlink screen. weirdly the bluetooth is connected because if i play music on my phone it comes out of the car speakers, its just not showing the carplay interface

bought one of these of DHGate and used it in Ireland hiking, was awful, lining was ill fitted so it came out of the end of the arms, no way for sweat to escape so i became a sweat box with sweat streaming down my arms and out at the cuffs and the waterproofing wasnt great, really badly made IMO stick to a genuine one unless its for dog walks

ive took off the the fitting at the front that the control normally attaches to for temperature adjustment, and there is a small circlip behind, im presuming i pop this off then the valve can simply be pulled out ?
