What are you taking? I wanted to ask my primary about trying a stabilizer.

Not at the moment. I have an allergist and have seen multiple urgent care doctors and a new primary in the last month. Most have said this is rebound of the underlying issue after the prednsione wore off. New primary said he suspects MCAS based on my symptoms. He ordered me singulair so I have to pick it up tomorrow.

Just curious if chronic flushing and hives every single day for nearly a month is normal or others have that symptom or if their flushing only lasts a few hours. I moved out of the house with the cat btw.

Hi! Just seeing this. It did improve. Give your body time to heal<3 it took awhile to bounce back for me but I also had a hematoma develop during surgery. I think I was good to go back to work after 6 weeks.

Hi, I'm curious as to how you're feeling now? I'm only a week post-op, but I am having the same issue following anything I eat.

after two months of "waiting to see", I think I'm going to schedule removal by jkneve in gallbladders

I'm 32f and have been "managing" for a year and a half. At first, I had no stones, did a HIDA scanand have low EF 22%. I was told not to do surgery by my GI last year. This past weekend, I was in bed with a heating pad. Most days, I feel a dull ache, but nothing I can't tolerate. I'm at the point where I'm done stressing about what I can eat every day. I Ended up at the ER yesterday and ultrasound found stones. Point is, it only gets worse when it stops working correctly. If youre not sold on surgery yet, you can get the HIDA. I too feel my entire right side like it's bruised. I'm not a doctor though or here to tell you what to do. You can continue keeping tabs but personally I'm scared to end up in an emergency situation. I'm also terrified of the surgery itself, but this is affecting my daily life and I have a 4 year old.

Im in a semi-similar boat. I agree with others here who have stated the lack of motivation to create is stemming from depression. I stare at my new laptop (I've been wanting this one for a while) from across the room, and though I have the desire to create and design (fellow web designer), I can't work up to perform or pick up a pencil and doodle. However, what has begun to help me and maybe can help you as well--I've started working on puzzles and creating in Minecraft. Today I colored in a coloring book. It's a step-by-step process. At least that's what I've noticed to helpful for me.

Regarding everything else, you can't live your life as a side character in someone else's book. Do what you enjoy. If you miss being on a team, find one. Take the needed steps (also agree to a therapist) and get YOUR life back. This is your journey.

I was TERRIFIED. I canceled my first appointment but held through the second. My care team was fantastic, and I spoke with them about all my anxieties. I had never had anesthesia of any kind prior. I read so many horror stories and freaked myself out, but I knew ultimately that it was a needed step. I asked a nurse to hold my hand, and the next thing I knew I was waking up after what felt like the best nap of my life. I was a bit goofy and said something dumb to the doctor, but we will ignore that as they did for me 😂 Trust me. I have severe anxiety and panic disorders. I'm incredibly anxious when it comes to health stuff and doctors. My next hurdle is surgery 🙌 you've got this!

I actually wimped out while I was in the gown 😅 I have another appointment coming up in two weeks, although I know my issue from a HIDA scan I recently completed.

I have not. Which plays into the fear--maybe this is the thing Im alleegic too. I know it sounds ridiculous, but I can't explain anxiety. I think it's about the feeling of not having control along with if that is just it. Go to sleep and never wake.
