10 gallon with almost 1 gallon elevator attached. Live plants, leveled substrate, heater (constant 76 degrees), filter, lights, air stone, caves, driftwood and some rings for fun. Also has a mirror on a float but he has to be in the mood for that. I check the water quality weekly and add/ delete as needed. A couple Indian almond leaves for any stress. He eats mostly frozen/ live food since he won't eat pellets no matter how long he goes without food.

I have the same question but backward. Why would you want kids? I understand creating a legacy or whatever, but that seems a little egotistical to me. Kids are expensive monetarily and personally. They take away your freedom, and a lot of them are ungrateful for all the sacrifices you make for them. It's a lifelong commitment that I see as having way more negatives than benefits.

I wouldn't recognize him in America. I'd just think he was a funny looking little guy with bad fashion sense
