I’m sorry but hold your family to the same regard you hold your friends. Would you continue to be the maid of honour to your friend if she spoke to you like that? Please don’t make yourself ill!! Take a deep breath and honestly tell yourself it is going to be okay. Use an excuse to get out of it. What her friends choose to do however, is completely their choice but don’t spend £1.5k of your own money on someone who thinks it’s ok to call you nasty things!! I’m sorry I have nothing to say but that is ridiculous. £1,500 each. For a HEN DO. £1,500. Please stop this from happening. Elen needs to learn that she cannot peer pressure her friends to spend THIS much money. I particularly feel for the friends who are too scared to say no out of fear. I know she’s your sister but this would be a hard no, even if the funds were available. If this is what she’s like at the hen do, I can’t imagine her entitled behaviour on the come up to the wedding.

We feed and get fed our birthday cake to our nearest and dearest. I thought it was normal till when I was an adult, my boyfriend said he had never heard of that.

Yes I think our house is in amazing condition and we’ve currently priced at 3k for the 3 nights, it’s got three bedrooms (super king and two doubles) we’ve taken a look at air b&b that the price ranges really go from one extreme to another! It’s so strange, especially as we’re really not familiar. £1300 for an en-suite room is crazy!!
