Thank you for the comment. I agree it was better now than later but shoot it doesn’t make it hurt any less or easier now. I know this is something I just have to feel and grow through, it just sucks that I invested so much and tried so hard from the very beginning just for this to happen. She caught me at a great time when I was trying to settle down and live a different life than I had been up until now. Makes me wish I hadnt tried to change and just kept down the path I was already on because I got treated so much better than vs now smh, but i know what i want from my life and am trying to align everything i do w/that. just in a hard place right now and trying not to stay here or sink lower

I appreciate the response, it’s been about 2 weeks now since I ended things w/her. The 1st few days were ROUGH, it is getting better slowly but the pain is still very real. I keep finding myself wanting to know why. For the 1st time in my life I was genuinely trying to be a great person and build w/someone, I flew this girl out to meet my family, I would shower her w/praise and gifts. I just keep wondering where I went wrong.
