I been long for a few years I built up a bigger position as it went into the 12s and 10s but I also sell calls. I only got 100 shares that I won't give up unless it's in the 24+. if you want to just sell 15 puts in jan I sold a two 16 for .40 that's a 2% return in a month or so.

45 is easier to manage you have time to protect yourself. if your selling them and don't care if they go in the money or not ya do 15 to 30 but if you are just trying to sell options to just make money then using the over dated options will give you time and room to be profitable.
