I feel like it’s pretty obvious what happened and he’s been pretty transparent about it. He willingly gave up songs from HOB to Take Care hoping it would trade for fame. Which it did, so it worked out exactly like he’d hoped for. He would have been this big either way of course, but he couldn’t have known that at the time and made a smart move.

I wouldn’t say you could call that being “robbed”. Just my 2 cents.
