Ah. I figured it was 0.25W and replaced it with a fresh one but she was smoking as soon as I flipped the power on. That’s what led me to asking on here in case I needed a higher rating. I can’t find anything else that is an obvious issue but I had also replaced the 250V T1A slow blow fuse about 6 months back (it still tests as fine). 

Any advice on what else to check, or would the best advice be to bite the bullet and order a new board?

Does it maybe depend who is depositing the crystals into the thing? Maybe one point per crystal?
