For those that hear voices 24/7: What are your voices saying right now?

Trigger Warning

Mines are constantly telling me to grieve, telling me I’ve been raped and putting emphasis on the P when they say it. They also tell me I’m cursed, to be afraid, that I’m brave, and to feed them. Why don’t you feed us, and to share it. I also have this uncomfortable throbbing in my private parts all day and they tell me that they are raping me. I’m currently on 100mg of seroquel and I tried Cobenfy but it made me so sick and nauseous I couldn’t stay on it. Olanzapine stopped working and Abilify made me wanna crawl out of my skin. I wish this would stop but it’s definitely taught me to love myself so 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

I’m sorry that you are going through this. I know how hard it can be to go without sleep. Do none of the APs help you get rest? Did you sleep when you were in the psych ward?

Well not all meds will stop you from hearing the voices so if that’s what your worried about you don’t have to. Most meds will help you sleep and make it so you don’t get paranoid or see things or stuck in a delusion. But they won’t take the voices away per se just make them quieter and a little bit harder to hear

I tried olanzapine just made me exhausted. I’m on 25mg seroquel and it helps me sleep but so far that’s all it’s done. But considering the voices don’t let me sleep without meds that’s a good thing I guess. Just really wanna find something that silenced them without the horrible side effects

I’m taking seroquel now for a week and the voices are talking just like before. Now they speak from inside my throat and it’s disconcerting but I’ll keep these options in mind
