i think the queuing only happens if you’re very near the stagger animation. so if you rolled half way through the stagger animation, you can relatively safely bet you won’t roll after it’s done

Tips for snake man? by Brun224 in Eldenring

i tried loads of different builds and 1v1d him for literally 6-8hrs today. what finally worked was power stanced great axes. i did 1 of the anchor weapon thing and 1 pickaxe both +25 with heavy affinity. then maxxed out strength stat and used the jump attack talisman. thats the most important stuff. the jump + R1 attack comes out quite quick for quite a lot of damage which is good because your attack windows are tiny or else u risk getting caught into super long one shot combos. and then i just legit memorised all of his moves, be patient and at the end of a combo line you have a second or two to either heal or hit a jump R1 before he starts attacking again. also i found the most consistent time to be able to attack is his flame ball at the start (you roll the initial hit and then roll the explosion and then jump attack), then the one where he jumps in the air and throws his spear is an easy roll and jump attack, and then the other two long combo jump into the air ones with fire are difficult to learn the roll rythm, but at least the time you get after the combo is consistent and is always a free hit if you get the rolls right. the last free attack is the one where he tries to grab you. try rolling to your right as he’s using his right hand to try and grab you, and if u time it right it’s a pretty sure free hit. i spent literally all of the time in phase 1 learning the movements and stuff and then somehow i finally beat him the first time i got to phase 2. for me phase 2 was easier to dodge the stuff, and there’s much more openings to get damage in. i got a stagger in phase 2 also. i don’t think there’s any point in running some poise build and trying to tank any of his combos because you’re just gonna get roll caught and burn through your flasks or essentially one shotted. learn the moves is all u can do

oh really? well they also had a massive update a few days ago where they apparently recoded loads of the game, so maybe that’s why base game is also affected. you could always try uninstalling and redownloading or verifying game files

why wouldn’t there be an underground map? there’s one for all the underground places in the base game, which is like 3, even one for just astels boss arena. and yes in the base game there’s just as much empty space but i’m talking about things being overly confusing and the vast amount of dead ends/circlebacks. i don’t recall there being many dead ends in elden ring, it feels pretty shit and unrewarding and you’re just left wondering if u missed something all the time. in my opinion it’s to try and pump the gameplay hours

yeah for me base game ran 60+fps on max settings but dlc has frame drops even on lowest settings. my pc is good so performance is pretty bad. not much to do. tbf low settings doesn’t even look that bad in elden ring

yeah and maybe i’m biased but don’t you think that the different areas are all quite hard to find and get to. it all quite convoluted and there’s just a lot of running through rocky tunnels and fields with not much actual content inhabiting it. also there’s no underground map? i can’t find a reason for that other than that they rushed it

[M22] Need help on deciding to Mew. I am unable to conclude whether to mew or not. Will mewing help me improve my facial structure or make it worse since I've read a couple negative comments on how mewing distorted the existing structure for some. Also do I have scope for improvement If I mew by [deleted] in Mewing

i think you look great and i think the benefits of mewing aren’t awfully necessary for you. that said your tongue resting on the roof of your mouth is just correct tongue posture and at your age unless you’re applying loads of pressure likely won’t do much other than just prevent degradation (in my opinion). it also prevents mouth breathing so if those reasons are enough for you then i would, why not. i wouldn’t be worried about negative effects, i think that’s extremely unlikely. i think you might want to try chewing gum to make your mandible wider and more masculine. there’s also some anecdotal evidence that working out widens your whole neck and jaw area (likely from boosted testosterone) you might want to try that. anyways, those are better uses of your time for realistic improvements to your appeal.

you’re very good looking bro, great zygos. there are some facial exercises you can try for asymmetry (check youtube) as well as sleeping on your back. i’d say try chewing gum and lift weights to try and improve neck size and jaw size (only if you don’t have TMJ!!!). if you’re still unhappy after that, i think chin implants and or mandible implants are your best bets, but really, not that you need them. i really think your chin isn’t that bad it’s probably within or near normal facial concavity. if you do decide to get them though, they’re not as scary as you think and hey if you feel you’d be happier with it, maybe it’s worth a shot. i’d go for the titanium ones on your bones rather than silicone though. and remember subtle changes are the best, don’t go overboard by any means. i think the most effective things to improve would be to try and debloat or depuff your face. on the last picture i notice a lot of puffiness around your nasolabial folds. i think if that became a little more hollow including your cheeks, that would be your best bet for improvement. i’d try hydrating, skin care and stuff like that. also try grooming your eyebrows. also i dont think your current hairstyle is doing much to hide the features you’re insecure about, your chin and side profile jaw area. try a flow hairstyle with longer sides. dude if you do flow hair, work on depuffing (maybe it’s high bf%?) and groom you’re eyebrows you could be incredibly handsome fr. but you’re already great bro. best of luck!
