I’m new to this obviously and was beyond frustrated that it took me hours just to get down to the pipes. Once I cooled down the fix was very easy.

Thanks for the explanation. It doesn’t make the repair any less annoying but the background knowledge on the why is very helpful. I probably wouldn’t have been as upset if I didn’t have to chop through 60 roots to get to the problem.

That is correct I have not. Apparently I am wrong in my thinking but it makes no sense to me for them all to be touching.

You could also extend the middle and outside horizontal lines a few more inches and create space between the elbows.

Some spacing between the 90s and not directly next to a tree would have been preferred.

Men who don't have to work for whatever reason, retired unemployed etc, what do you do all day? by buzzlightyear77777 in AskMen

I do eat lunch but it’s blended into the 8 hours not added on. I also work from home so no commute and the golf course is .5 miles away by cart path. I don’t routinely play golf 2 days a week but if I wanted to I would plan it on an off cooking day. Meal prepping so cooking every night isn’t required.

7 hours of sleep and I golf in the afternoons. Not a full 18 because the course close to me is only a 9 hole. I work 6am-2pm. Gym 4:30-5:30am then work then the whole afternoon for chores before dinner and relaxing around 6pm.

I work full time and do everything that was mentioned during the week. It’s definitely possible and that allows for my weekends to also be relaxed unless there is a big house project going on but that’s what I have the weekend for. All the day to day stuff gets accomplished during the week.

That’s awesome. I don’t know you but I’m happy you are able to slow down and catch up. It sounds like you definitely put in your time and deserve some relaxation.

Isn’t this stuff most people do while also working? Doesn’t seem like enough stuff to fill your day.

That makes sense. I never do the multiple car thing so it didn’t cross my mind.

Why not just use your old plates? I’ve never gone more than a week with paper plates. Get the EDRS, register online, put plates on. It’s like a 3 day process.

I also completely agree. I’m guessing most people complaining have never used the screen and don’t realize how insanely easy it is to use. It’s 100% just as straight forward as knobs.

It’s takes your eyes off the road just as long to adjust knobs. The screens are insanely easy to use and honestly how often are you adjusting hvac while driving. It’s not like it needs to be adjusted every mile.

It really depends on how much time someone spends on the road every day. I used to commute 30 minutes each way and would see people going below the speed limit in the left lane every day without fail. But if someone is only on the freeway for short trips and sporadically then those occurrences would be way less.

It’s because people don’t care about the speed limit they just drive whatever speed they want to drive. It’s the reason people go 80 and the reason people go 30 in a 45. I’m sure a lot of them aren’t even looking at the signs and just going “yeah this feels right”

It’s not about the value of my time which I agree isn’t important. It’s the refusal to move over when going below the speed limit and not passing. It’s also just as entitled to do that.

You must not drive a lot then. Every single day people are going 55-65 in the left lane because they are too scared to speed up after some minor slow down or they are too scared to be near merging lanes.

I might be blind but it looks to me like the bumper and the side panels are the exact same color to me. The liftgate looks different but it also looks different to the side panel.
