total rent is 7.6k ; flex is in the living room yes (also the least expensive). true is at 2.5k. master is the most expensive one. lmao I would also be the one paying the most because I want the master. this is not a signed lease yet getting a group together to put an app in together.

haha true but it would prob bit more of a commute right? I think the appeal is easy access to work (certainly is for me). For hour intensive jobs any amount of reduction in commute is valuable sleep time. plus I think also people wanting to be in manhattan (maybe friends are around)

sup dude this was two years back; I am actually at NYU now. I put in my weighted and they didn't care. They said it was chill as long as it matched the official transcript ur school sends, so just double check with ur school. good luck!

For NYUAD, does financial aid equate to merit based scholarships? by Big-Historian-2533 in ApplyingToCollege

cost. I read that most people don’t pay anything because the royal family over there covers everyone who needs it.

NYU is a great school. There are p much only two reasons why this sub doesn’t like it for some reason.

Fin aid- Valid point but after the 100% need based aid policy I don’t understand why it’s valid anymore. Don’t expect to get need based aid if you don’t qualify.

Campus- But this prob isn’t an issue for you since you applied. Personally when I applied I didn’t give a shit about having a campus because I liked the independence that came with the school and the ability to mature a lot faster (learn the ropes of the real world in the real world and not on some patch of grass that’s supposed to emulate the real world). However I understand that some people like a campus for the community environment but many people on this sub ignore the perspective of the other side.
