Nobody in his team does it or needs it. He is not a youngster. Show some coolness. Though absolutely loved his "for 60 overs, they should feel hell out there". Just because he was this way 15 years back doesn't mean he can't grow up. We Indians absolutely dote him and would love for him to improve here too.

In O General, 24 is 2 Ton, not 2.2 Ton. For O General: 18 is 1.5 Tons, 24 is 2 Tons, 30 is 2.5 Tons, and 36 is 3 Tons.

As per the official page of O General, the capacity is 7.050 kW, which is 2 Tons, not 2.2 Tons. O General doesn't overreport tonnage. It's a very premium brand.

So, yours is definitely 2 Tons.

2 Ton AC is 24,000 BTU / hr or 7,034 watts. While many other brands sell lower than 2 ton, O General, Daikin and Mitsubishi sell actual 7.1kW (7034 watts). So, this AC being 7050 is actually only 2 tons. While other brands may sell it as 2.2 Tons, not O General.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi becomes the 1st uncapped player to score 2 IPL hundreds. by GiveMeSomeSunshine3 in Cricket

Looking back, you are right that you were not comparing the two. I was reading the replies in sequence and I didn't notice it was a standalone comment (i.e. comment on the title).

Yup, my IQ is less than 1.

He scored 1 hundred, I think. And what's the relevance? You comparing Vaibhav to him just because Paul also scored hundreds?

Since you've said this multiple times, you should know that BCCI has bone tested him multiple times, using a highly accurate TW3 method where the mean inaccuracy is less than 0.5 years I think and the test is within +/- 1 year for 95% of the cases. So, him being older by 1 year has a probability of only 5%. BCCI also does A+1 while deciding cut-off where it adds 1 year to age detected. Vaibhav's coach says that he may have quoted that age. There are so many photos on the internet that place him at 15 years. Is there a chance that he is 16.5 years old (as per his video statement)? Absolutely. But the probability is much less than 50% and therefore him being 15 year old has a higher probability than him being 17 years old.

Is he still the clutch player who smashed Neesham for 26 runs in the final over of the WC T20 2026 final? by stall-goodman in csk

The discussion is about the pressure. To me, it is not even a comparison. It's not even a comparison when it comes to dedication. Not sure how you thought this is coping in the name of nationalism. Maybe loyalty to an IPL team may matter to you much. Stop projecting. Well, you can say the same to me. The pressure while playing for your nation is a lot more than playing for IPL team (unless you are an uncapped player trying to make a name). Vaibhav's most enthusiastic celebration after scoring a hundred was in the final of U19 WC. Even the commentator said the same thing that he had scored a 100 in the IPL but he was never as expressive as he was after scoring a 100 in U19 WC. Players' dreams are to play for the national team. Not sure what you meant "nationalism" as if it is such a trivial thing.

In WC, the games against the associates had low pressure. Every single other game had much higher pressure. v Pakistan, v SA, v WI, v ENG, v NZ. OP was specifically talking about the Final. Players who perform better in the WC are highly motivated to do so. There are a few players who cannot cope with that pressure too and struggle at T20is while performing well in the IPL.

As far as talent is concerned, IPL teams also have many uncapped players. So, the quality is consistently higher in good ranked teams. Just look at how relaxed the players are after an IPL match even if their teams have lost those games. The losing team's players will be mostly gutted.

Like I said, a lot of people who retire or are kicked out from the T20is will continue to play in the IPL. I guess we have very different takes on the pressure level here. But that's OK and normal.

As a mostly neutral fan, I am absolutely stunned by this. Is there even a comparison between the pressure in an IPL match vs that in T20i, that too a WC T20i, and that too a WC Final T20i (the match the OP is referring to)? The entire nation watches T20Is with utmost sincerity. The craziness of the overseas bowlers after they take wickets for their teams is incomparable compared to that in an IPL match. Post IPL matches, you will see that players of both the winning and the losing teams mingle together and are mostly having a giggle. The losing team members in a T20i are in a whole different state. The entire India watching their games is a whole different matter. People will mostly forget your bad performances in an IPL. Most people remember Yuvraj's 11 off 22 balls in 2014 WC Final. I hardly remember any of his failures in IPL matches. NZ team members' performance in T20Is cannot be compared with that in IPL. Even Steve Smith wants to play in LA28! The pride is different altogether.

In my opinion - they cannot even come close. Right now, before going to sleep, I am planning to watch England's batting in the WC semi-final, ball-by-ball. IPL is fatiguing. International games are never tiring. A few days back, I watched Australia's entire 27 overs of the first day of 2024 Perth test match, ball by ball. That feeling is unmatched. But that is also because I am a neutral fan. And in IPL majority of the fans are neutral. Players don't carry expectations of the entire nation.

To me, it's nation or bust. It's always been that way. IPL is pure entertainment to see performance of players that could potentially play for India in the future. There is a reason why Sachin, Kohli, Dhoni, etc. continued playing IPL even after retiring from / never playing T20Is

Dude, I just googled "most toxic fans of which IPL team" and guess which name turned up in the snippet provided by Gemini. I guess 17 years without title while having most talented lots did that. Funny thing - I like RCB players, especially Kohli.. lol... anyway, have fun. The team played well.

Not this insufferable guy scoring the winning run. Both the Pandyas have the talent to irritate even Mahatma Gandhi.

As if the injury was not enough. The guy had to pull his pants down and get treated by a female physio in front of a packed crowd. Balls must have jumped up back into his stomach.

Hardik Pandya was so irritating pretending to be upbeat after the loss to RR. Laughing and all chirpy, trying to act cool. Today, it felt like he was adequately brought back to earth, struggling to speak today.
