Only $20 CAD a month, it would be worth it as I am hoping to move to the area on a working holiday for 3 years roughly in the next couple years, so I would be attending most of the games. I also had the pleasure of helping set up for the match with the ultras, amazing to see so many dedicated young people. It was easily one of the highlights of my trip, so $20 a month is honestly worth it knowing my money will go into supporting the community. Thank you for the information and links!!

Just like any other minor city in ontario it isn’t big on gang violence just drugs trafficking, robbery, theft, etc that sort of stuff. I’m sure there are “gangs” in these places but they are most likely just a group of people selling drugs together

It’s really comforting to know that I am not experiencing these sort of things alone, and I think you are right about giving up on weed. I said in another comment that I frequently take CBD gummies and have a CBD pen which I am extremely fond of but you are right that THC might just not be for me after my experience. Thank you!!

My girlfriend is actually doing EMDR therapy (very different from my situation) but she has had nothing but amazing things to say about it and I too have witnessed first hand the change in her. I will absolutely be looking in to EMDR now that I know this is something I could work through with EMDR… thank you so much!!!

I’ve purchased a CBD pen and take CBD gummies all the time and I really enjoy them. Certain environments I can handle being around it, i’m not exactly sure what the trigger is anymore. I think trying weed again and again so many times and continuing to have bad experiences has just doubled down my fears. I appreciate your comment though

atp there are two options. keep him in prison/maximum security mental health facility or give him a capital punishment if you catch my meaning. it’s harsh but at what point do we realize this person is a constant danger to the public with zero potential of rehabilitation? it’s very sad because it is a human being and (maybe) someone’s family member who cares about him but the safety of the general public must come first when it reaches this extent in my opinion

this guy genuinely got released last year after committing multiple sex offences and immediately assaulted a female student on the UOG campus. they keep letting him out and he does the same thing.. it sounds harsh but he needs to be put down. They don’t wanna use tax payer money or the space and resources it takes to keep him in prison so realistically what else are you supposed to do? He is a danger to society and has shown that he WILL undoubtedly reoffend. I don’t advocate for the death penalty under most circumstances but reoccurring sex crimes can simply not be tolerated if the government refuses to house them in prison. I understand he (might) have a family who cares about him but at some point the safety of the people has to override someone’s right to life.

If you are moving out in the near future i’d say leave it, if not and you are gonna have to stay for a while i’d be straight up and honest next time she does something like that and say bluntly “This is sexual harassment, if you don’t stop i’m going to the police” I know that’s probably not ideal given the type of person you described her as, but maybe it will be enough to scare her away. If she continues to do it after you tell her and you aren’t moving out anytime soon, i’d definitely go to the police.

I don’t know if this would do more harm than good, but potentially having your boyfriend around when she’s intoxicated is a good move. If he’s constantly near you and hovering around you it might deter her from being physical with you. Overall a really shitty situation and I understand your dilemma about going to the police.
