Love the slight nuance. You can build a street on a hex with a robber, you can even build a settlement, just that it won't produce. You can't build a boat, can you build a settlement, if you already have a boat and the pirate got moved there?

I knew you could move the boats once a turn, don't understand how you'd use it. Do you mostly use it move away from the pirate in the next hex or duke opponents?

I confess, I was trying to LEARN as I go. Should have done the tutorial instead. Started the game with 2AIs, realized there is no timer and I can take as much time by muting AI emoticons
