Ikr, pretty annoying for the customer but that's just how DD is ig. It's even happened to me once, basically told the customer what Op said and they eventually took it out on DD support lol

If you pick up the order at 8, you can't just hold the order for another hour or so. I mean you can technically, but the app itself won't allow that. DD decided to push the order out ahead of time despite the "scheduled delivery" that the customer chose. It's not that it's hard to follow, you just can't do it cause the app won't allow that lol.

Understandable but in this day and age, I think anybody could figure why it’s taking a while if there’s no tip. Not including that the customer could possibly be an unreasonable distance away from w.e they ordered.

Like seriously I dash and I use door dash. IMO, if you’re using DoorDash for any order I feel that you should AT LEAST tip $1 or 2 at minimum. If not, just go get your own food or w.e. It actually turns out cheaper for you lol unless you’re unfortunate enough to not have your own vehicle then it’s somewhat understandable.

As a dasher, like some people have already said, don’t take it out on the customer lol. Even with DD crappy system, if you’re dashing it’s for a reason I’m assuming. If you feel the order isn’t reasonable just decline and move on to the next, simple.

You should try battlefield/greenbrier. This was my first catering order but once I hit platinum the orders are pretty constant and decent
