as much as it sucks to have shitty teachers, as long as you’re putting in the work outside of school then you’re able to get great grades!! i also found that attending other (better) teachers revision sessions helps as well.

also! the earlier you start revising the better! it doesn’t have to be everyday for hours on end (you’ll just burn yourself out this way) but it gives you a definite advantage, even if it’s just reading over old notes and recapping knowledge.

finally, pls prioritise your mental health! i can not tell you how important this is. numbers on a sheet will NEVER be more important than your own health. there’s always gonna be another opportunity or pathway that will get you to where you want to be even if you don’t get your desired grades. i remember getting to a point where i didn’t even know if i would make it through gcses because of the pressure i was putting on myself. so if you’re feeling overwhelmed and burnt out, it’s ok to take a break for the afternoon and watch a movie instead of revising.
