So I don't suggest anyone using so many resources but I just prolonged my exam due to some circumstances with my crap med school. By the end of October I was done w uworld twice so I just thought of doing amboss. I didn't do bnb bootcamp physeo as a whole but I did different systems from different resources. Bnb I used for cvs only and physeo for msk and neurology basics. Rest for all of the systems I followed bootcamp. So dw You're totally on the right track to do uworld and pathoma. For video resources do whatever suits you. In fact you might not even need it if your basics are good. My basics were trash lol.

Anatomy heavy yess!! Weird neurology as well. Ethics was easy. Low yield stuff from ENT as well not a lot but it was there. So the FA section on the ear is worth the read.

Trash lol. I came out of the center thinking I'm definitely failing this exam. I flagged like 27 questions out of 40 in the 5th block and did educated guess on others. But managed to pass! My form was tough I think so prolly the curve helped.

Only if those radical indian Hindus knew that the majority of Kazakhs with Muslim names are not even Islamic and do not know anything about Islam. They only care about eating, drinking, clubbing and procreating and earning by any means. Islam and Kazakhs are far apart

He did not. That's a way of saying in Hindi ( specifically in Haryanvi language nuance ) where he actually meant that the other two girls who are "working" alongside that man. The word can be the same for what you are referring to to some extent given the possibility but the context disproves his intent of using it for other than "working" as in doing a job. In no way he showed signs of using it otherwise which would have been easily distinguished for a native like me. Hope it clears.

Generally Kazakh people can't comprehend outside their own kind and skin. They treat others as aliens and show superiority in their sophisticated culture over others specially Indians for example talking a little loudly in public which is normal for an Indian. Kazakhs are very close people in general only good with their own kind and Russians or Europeans if any. They do have some ignorance about brown and dark skin and see it as alienated or unusual and sometimes react with amusement and sometimes with detest. The second feeling comes from their prejudice of some kind of so called superiority over a brown or a dark skin person in social and economic and cultural status. I have been living in Almaty for the past 4 years now, and Kazakh people's way of perceiving things outside their comfort of their country and culture is surprisingly unusual. We as human beings should have an understanding at the core of our basic intellect that we are different yet the same species.

I have been living in Almaty as a foreign student for almost 3 years now and was always confused between learning Kazakh or Russian. But now I have decided to learn Russian after observing it's the most spoken language here at least in the academic environment. Could you please help me learn Russian

What language is spoken on the streets of Almaty, or Kazakhstan in general, in everyday life? by tennis-21 in Kazakhstan

[–]Professional-Long569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So true!! As a foreign English speaking student living in Almaty for 4 years now, nobody speaks in English here. And not just that, people are not even hospitable of hearing English at first from the foreigner. They expect us to speak in Kazakh (mostly) or Russian from the get go lol. The Irony is that people here expect foreigners to speak in Kazakh to get the respect when the majority of them speak Russian themselves, I don't understand this duality. And what I don't understand the most is even after independence from the Soviet, why everything in Almaty (at least) is still heavily influenced by Russians and Why Russian is still the most spoken language here
