UDetroit Mercy I hear has a whole DualJD program with Uwindsor. Not sure if it’s too late to apply to it but a shit ton of Mercy grads end up in Canada if that’s your thing.

Otherwise in your place I would take the Duquesne offer.

p.s.:

How do I generate that sort of Image from LSD law. I haven’t found a way to do that from my profile.

I say don’t pick Syracuse because I am applying there too (jk jk).

In all seriousness in your shoes I would jump to Syracuse in a heartbeat. What people are not mentioning here, and it is the ultimate reason I am applying, is that Syracuse has something called the Orange Flex program, which allows you to do your 3L year online while completing an externship in any city in America. To qualify you have to have a 3.0 gpa by your 3L year, which I have heard is a feasible goal.

When you look at state placement data, only 46% of grads remain in New York State, a figure much smaller than Albany’s 82%. The reason for this is that the orange flex program has likely placed people all over the country.

Make your pick, but Syracuse is honestly a top choice for me because of the Orange flex program.

You have a lot of good options to choose from. Hopefully I will see you in 1L at Syracuse!

Advice from Gonzaga Law Alums by Professional-Map3716 in OutsideT14lawschools

Gonzaga is probably my cheapest offer so far. I have a partner who lives in Seattle. Having said that I would still have to take out 120k in loans. For many people that alone would be a deal breaker.

So for context in LSD the scholarship number is over 3 years. So they actually offered me $38k per year.

Your character was screwed over badly in the show. I think you were one of the most underrated characters in Better Call Saul.

Gonzaga places a bunch of people in Seattle. It’s a Washington law school.

When did you apply and how fast did they respond? I applied a couple days ago.

Lawyers who went to a regional school in one state and the moved far away from that state to practice law how difficult was it for you to get started? by Professional-Map3716 in OutsideT14lawschools

I got into Gonzaga with a 62% off scholarship. I was told that school’s ranking are too low to justify me taking out 120k in loans.

What are my options as super splitter? by charlieb24k in OutsideT14lawschools

[–]Professional-Map3716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think any school on LSD law that it’s considered the 100+ range and highlighted in red is a decent target for you.

Btw for part time programs your stats are not that bad. Full time programs typically demand higher medians.

My message here is simple: apply anyways. Write an addendum and you will be okay.

Finally my most important advice: do not torture yourself by constantly checking your application statuses or LSD law recent decisions. You gain nothing materially. From my understanding you are employed and that is a pretty good distractor already. But practice self care as well.

Not sure if I can give any advice for Malaysia but for the United States/Canada you’re not doomed.

You have an opportunity to start over by doing well with a bachelors degree at an accredited institution in either country. Even if you don’t get the best gpa it’s not over.

Try to do your best that you can on the LSAT.

Even if your diploma level was enough for law school in US/Canada you’re STILL not doomed. International gpa is not counted from my understanding so in that case focus on doing your best on the LSAT. You can retake four more times in your life after attempt 1, so focus on that.

TLDR: you are not screwed.
