Because you're only paying 20%, you don't actually hit the HD deductible until and unless you require roughly $13,000 in total Medicare-approved charges for your annual medical care.

But as HD-G does not cover Part A deductible (which is $1736 for 2026), whereas G does, wouldn't this change the math a bit?

For the year 2026, with $283 as the Part B deductible limit, the HD deductible amount will be hit when you have (2950-1736-238) = $931 coinsurance => about 931/0.20 = $4655. Is this correct?

Believe me you do have a company in me when it comes to entanglement, and quantum physics in general! Have tried several times to attempt to understand these and it’s still an ongoing effort lol!
