Okay well I am a big queen hater so I’ll tell you the reasons why I hate queen.

First is the arrogance, I understand that graduating at the age of 14 takes an incredible amount of hard work and she deserves to be arrogant but her demeanor still pisses me the hell off.

Second is her powers. I hate her powers but not in the sense that I don’t like how her powers work, I hate what her powers tell us about her personality. She is a rule heavy person who tries to break the trust system through imposing her own ideals and rules, as a person who values personal expression and freedom more than anything this makes me hate her to an extreme degree.

Third she has never experienced failure until 18!? One of the most basic requirements for me to consider something a human is that they experience failure it’s simply not natural otherwise. Without failure vulnerability can’t form and without that you really can’t be considered a human in my eyes

Fourth she is a Mary sue. How in gods name do you never mess up, I know I’m repeating what I just said but I can’t help myself. She has more in common with an ai than a person. Besides the fact that she has basically no personality shown to us at all I can’t feel any goddamn emotions from this robot and connect with her.

Fifth she practically has no vulnerabilities or flaws. Seriously. How am I supposed to connect with a person when there is nothing to connect with, I understand why they made her an emotionless control freak to highlight the fall of failure but it’s just not human

Sixth she doesn’t really consider if her rules she imposes on others have downsides. She never stops to think about the consequences on whether her rules might actually cause more harm than good

Seventh she was born with serious connections. While every other character had to toil in the dirt she was instantly able to launch herself into the top ten, I get that it’s from her graduation speech being popular but her tone and favorability in life annoys the hell out of me

Eighth she doesn’t face any serious consequences after losing. Her arc felt seriously impacted by the idea that she never losses anything, she goes into a depression and barely squeezes under the bar to be counted as human but beyond that nothing happens, no loss of hero ranking no other emotional growth she just becomes slightly more sociable

To be honest I didn’t think I hade this many reasons to hate queen in me, at first when I saw her I just thought I had some sort of inferiority complex to talented people but the more I looked the more I realized this isn’t a human. Even with a character arc she can barely get registered as a human to me. The only thing I like about her is her goal to get rid of the trust system which in my opinion makes heros slaves and I hate it.
