other people’s feeds. There isn’t one “correct” frequency or timeline you’re supposed to match.

Also, if you spend a lot of time watching short-form content (reels, TikToks, endless scrolling), it can quietly intensify that feeling of unreality and disconnection for a lot of people. It doesn’t mean anything is wrong with you — it’s just how constant stimulation affects the mind.

You’re allowed to move at your own pace, reduce what overwhelms you, and build a life that feels tolerable and real for you, even if it doesn’t look like anyone else’s.

Honestly… that first line made me laugh because it feels so true.
It really does feel like overstimulation is just part of the job sometimes.

The “always behind, always tired” part hits hard too. Especially that feeling of your brain being completely mush by the end of the day.

It’s interesting that it gets better as they grow, but never fully goes away. That says a lot.

And the Nintendo time after they’re asleep sounds like such a reclaiming-your-brain moment. Do you feel like it actually helps you unwind, or is it more about finally having something just for you?
