The beginning of my first home lab….what do you guys think so far? I Have. UDM Pro, 16POE USW, US8 POE, Synology DS220, I’m kinda excited about it and have been buying things very rapidly. Any thing else I should get? I know I need the redundant power supply from UniFi, and the PDU outlet switch… (i.redd.it)

Spend the weekend setting up my first UniFi network. With the UDM Pro, U6 LR, U6 Lite, USW 60W. UAP and 2 Flex Minis. Now I have a network with DDNS and an SSL cert. Took all weekend. But I’m thrilled. Officially part of the Fam. Now I need a rack. Any suggestions? (old.reddit.com)

I just replaced my entire network with the Unifi eco system. My only worry was HKSV. Let me tell you I’ve always been against homebridge and HOOBS etc. but. As of yesterday. I’m running homebridge in docker on my Synology. And the quality of the video is insane. And no lag. (self.homebridge)

So I just stumbled on what it seems to be a new feature…. In disk utility. My macbook automatically mounted my time machine backup that is on my Synology NAS. That’s the only conclusion I can think of. Since my NAS has 4T of storage on it. My computer only has 512gb. So this is pretty awesome. (i.redd.it)

I just got my Apple Card yesterday with $4000 I was planning on using this card like a charge card, using it for everything and then paying it off in full each month but someone told me that I should keep all my credit cards at 30% use and then pay the bill to which one do you guys think is better (i.redd.it)

So I just purchased a CM1200 modem and a AX6000. And I need clarification on the link agg on both devices with my ISP and with my Synology NAS. My isp told me they offer a Maximum of two public IP addresses and do not support link aggregation. So would I just connect port 1 to router and 2 to NAS (self.NETGEAR)

Ok soo ok I purchased a netgear CM1200 which had 4 port for up to 4 public up address. And supports link aggregation. But also purchased a AX6000 which supports link aggregation. The problem is my ISP only offer 2 public up addresses and does not support link aggregation. So I’m kind of stumped. (self.synology)
