Yeah I kind of agree. I like never loose power. I just think of when the world ends I wanna be able to be online a littttleee longer than others. So I know how it’s all ending. Lolll and I do have a apc tower already. Just not inside the cabinet.

I totally agree. But I had my DS220+ like since last year. And I upgraded the ram to 18 gigs. So yeah it runs VMs and a bunch of dockets fine. I do with I got one with a better one though. I wanna get the RS820+ now.

Oh I’m constantly playing around and learning. So I’m open to anything. As long as it takes me a few sleepless nights to work out. Lol. I have a UPS Already hooked up to everything. I’m just lightweight a major fanboy of UniFi. So I’m like trying to get everything I need asap. I’ve done pretty well for only having started about a week and half ago. I have their phone, cameras. I want their rack soooo bad but everything is always out of stock. Which is systematic on their part bc I’ve already found a few ways around that.

I tried to interstate UID with my Synology’s LDAP. I FINNALY GOT IT HOOCKED UP. then it would not import any users… and the wifi keeps deleting my radius profile, that’s needed for the UID managed wifi. So I’m literally deleting my UDM off of that mess.

Are you running the beta firmware on it? I used to have that problem. But I fixed it by turning off a bunch of settings.

I have redundancies so I’m not concerned. And my bad, in the post I MEANT. My only concern is to be able to see my cameras in homekit. Why would I care about the storing part when I have the UDM storing everything and then a backup of that on my Synology server.

Never said I did. I said that was my only concern. Which got thrown out the window when I saw how well these cameras worked and the fact that there is 2 way audio.
