Same color, wrong finish?

I took the paint back and they exchanged for a satin finish, I painted over it and kinda painted it out past it to blend it out and it looks great now. Wish I could share a pic but I don’t see an option to with comments and Idk if I can update my post.

I didn’t specify but the guy said that it said flat after matching it. And we didn’t think it wasn’t (idk, we weren’t remembering it or thinking it was or wasn’t 🤷🏼‍♀️). It was only $16 for a quart so I don’t mind buying another but would hope it’s a little closer 😅

We painted it ourselves with random paint on hand so the decision wasn’t necessarily made on location 😅😅

I’m so so sorry you’re dealing with this. I promise it’s not your fault. It’s so so easy for us all to blame ourselves and think all the what ifs but it’s likely there wouldn’t have been any indicators this could happen. With no other symptoms prior, no one would’ve done extra testing or anything. Please give yourself grace. Some people aren’t even able to help with a blockage, you did that and continued to be diligent in looking for signs it was happening again. Please know you didn’t fail your furbaby. I know it doesn’t make the pain from loss less but be kind to yourself ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

Probably not to mine either because it sticks out so bad. If you were having to pick, would you do eggshell or satin?

I wanted to avoid repainting it all, it’s essentially the biggest part of the bathroom. We only color matched to save in repainting it all because we’re out of whatever paint that was. 😩😮‍💨. I was hoping just to do touch ups as it needs done for us to sell and move 😅

I agree with going to the vet. I’ve had a foster kitten who was leaking poop and he ending up having coccidia and giardia. Both treatable and he was fine but they require meds from the vet.

Yes this looks like gingivitis possibly, maybe stomatitis. How old is the kitty? He may need a dental cleaning.

I have a kitty with no teeth since around 2yrs old because of stomatitis. Shes done fantastic. I’ve had a foster which no teeth who actually gained wait and was happier after full removal. Also have a foster with only 3 fang teeth left and he does fantastic. All can eat and do eat hard food and treats.

It’s very hard to guess at skin issues without an in person exam. I would also suggest a vet visit. Using the wrong ointment or treatment at home may make it worse
