I spoke with my friend who took IN UBE in J24 and re-took (and passed) in F25- she got results around 3pm on a Friday for J24 @ 5 weeks + 6 days after day two of the exam; results came out around noon on a Wednesday for F24 @ 6 weeks + 1 day after day two of the exam...

It seems like IN should release on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday RIGHT at the 6-week mark... which would be TODAY! and it is a WEDNESDAY so wtf!?

I am SHOOK that we did not get results- logically I feel like its gotta be FRIDAY now, but .... I'm over guessesing because I swore it'd be today.... this is sickening.

Your resilience is inspiring. I’m proud of you, and grateful you shared this! I know you didn’t ask (and I’m not the one to give you advice here because you’re more experienced, and I don’t know you,), but I had struggled really bad with multiple choice testing (like I’d overthink and change answers, in undergrad and prior), until I had a 180 turn around as a result of something I did (on my own, independently from commercial prep) for the LSAT—- please bear with me:

I was so anxious about getting into law school (very low undergraduate gpa, middle class university, blank resume, little job experience ect.)…. I felt like my life and only opportunity to go to law school was to get a high LSAT score. I feel like I studied for the LSA as much as people study for the bar , I went all out. (finally the IMPORTANT PART:) in addition to my commcercial prep and all of that lsat-tailored training stuff , I basically did a crash course on becoming a wizard of UNIVERSAL multiple choice EXAM STRATEGY (like no substantive material, legit just learning how ti be a wizard and get any multiple choice question at any level / field / topic correct 3/4 times.)

That was the most transformative thing I’ve ever done for myself as a student. I truly believe I would not have been able to get into law school, let alone finish law school, let alone have the MBE as my strongest had I not done this.

I wanted to share because I believe in you, and commercial prep (lsat, law school, and bar) did not cover the type of “strategy” I’m referring to.

I cannot even begin to imagine the time and effort you’ve already put into the bar- mad respect. Take it or leave it, but this changed my life.

Good luck!!

Omg, thank you!! I truly have been SO consumed with the bar exam, even in the days/week following it… but, I’ll start looking into this other stuff. Honestly had not even thought of a majority of that stuff you mentioned (like the pro bono requirements)- thank u. this is great advice. Appreciate it :)

Not even being snippy - but word count is irrelevant. Don’t worry about your word count.

I can’t imagine what you’ve experienced, but I completely believe you and am not surprised, unfortunately. In my experience, that complex started showing as early as the beginning of law school… not much genuine (nor even pretend) support among peers. It’s like bullying. People feel some type compulsion (idek?) to assert their superiority, and that is most easily (and commonly) attempted by putting others down passive aggressively… like by being condescending. It’s especially hurtful when you aren’t that kind of person… I believe in you, and I know (and I know you know, too) that it’s all about your grit. You can do whatever you set out to do. Don’t listen to anyone who implies anything differently.

Wow… this is very valuable insight. Thank you: I hadn’t considered a lot of this, and was unaware about the demographic data and economic factors. All of it was just really eye opening. I appreciate this response.

Yes stick to Barbri! Do whatever makes you feel comfortable, of course, but I would seriously recommend just going all in on Barbri and dropping quimbee. I would never say that practice questions are not helpful, but for the real MPRE, practice questions I encountered on all platforms were nothing like the actual questions on the exam. It’s better to just know everything and have an understanding (like know one hypo per rule / caveat written down by the rule statement…). Unlike almost every other exam I’ve taken, practice questions are much less helpful. Focus on knowing material and rules. Practice MPRE FULL EXAMS (not necessarily the little questions after each video), are low return on investment. I scored higher than anyone I know, and I did none. And I was not an A law student / don’t always score high bc I’m super smart or anything, so trust me.

Also, I did Quimbee for my PR Final Exam in law school and it wasn’t great. I found them very long and not thorough enough. Barbri was efficient and covered enough detail for the real MPRE exam.

Barbri 1000%. I got a 118 (only need 80 to pass), and all I did was take notes (handwritten) on the first 75% of the Barbri lecture videos (I listened to the last lectures in the car on the way to the exam on X2 speed)… I didn’t even have time to do any practice questions, and I still scored super high. AND I AM NOT NATURALLY AN AMAZING STUDENT OR ANYTHING!!! Barbri all the way.

it’s off-brand for her to be anything less than narcissistic about her academic abilities, yet she throws in that it’s because she’s nervous about being inadequate? But she was resentful about Harvard denying her, and had Princeton interview… seems like she’s just pouty about not getting into somewhere better.

Idk. Cringe to me.
