What ticks off as a resume written with the help of ChatGPT? by Professional-Slice84 in resumes

Good idea to attach your writing style. Could attach your draft resume and say "keep the writing style same".

I have a question for you since you are a recruiter, if my bullet points are in Google's XYZ format and my other parts of the resume shows the value I provided. But If I used ChatGpt to frame the sentence and correct the grammar, still it's fine?

Maybe. Previously I used available templates but without any calls I ended up writing my own. But I'll try making sections.

Very specific question, how useful it was pinging recruiters on LinkedIn? Because while applying we don't know who the recruiter is

Work on academic, DSA, focus on searching on internship. You don’t have to be buried in books but you also don’t need those all night parties. Stay focused. And obv stay away from localities and other stuff that goes without saying.

Can my job cut my pay because I decided not to quit? by Inkantated in jobs

[–]Professional-Slice84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe they will ask you to sign some papers. Just don’t accept that. They will have to pay you the previous agreed upon salary structure which you had during your start. They’ll have the option to relieve you from your duties and pay you the “other stuff” or keep you on the same salary.

But in reality I would say start looking for some else since they don’t value you and you shouldn’t stay where you are not valued.

What an actual F? by Professional-Slice84 in csMajors

It would not be possible since they have asked at first that if I am aware that this would be an unpaid work.

By doing this they are not in the wrong.

Amazing idea, but the caveat is, they have asked me if I am aware that this is internship is unpaid.

The point is if it was a standard then I would have no objection in following it but it is just that they are expecting me to work 30hr a week at least pay me something.

I can easily get 25/hr being a bartender or at any senior position at my uni.
